We have answers to common questions in our FAQ section below.

  1. How do I sign into my account?
    To login to your account, simply click on the “Login” button in the top right corner of the web screen. If you haven’t created an account yet, please click the “Create Account” link and following the subsequent prompts.

  2. I don’t remember my password, how do I reset it?
    If you can’t remember your password, click on the “Login” button in the top right corner of your web screen. Once the login-in pop-up appears in the center of your screen, click “Forgot Your Password” and follow the prompts.

  3. What payment methods do you accept?
    Print Direct currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

  4. What is the status of my order?
    You can find the status of your order by logging into your account and clicking on “Order History”. The status of each order will be listed there.

  5. What file format should I provide my files in?
    The preferred file format is hi-resolution PDFs.

  6. What resolution is recommended for my files?
    It is recommended that all files be provided at 300dpi

  7. What is bleed?
    Bleed is a term that refers to the printed area that extends beyond the trim marks on a sheet. It guarantees that the final trim has ink all the way to the edge. We recommend that all files are supplied with .25” bleed.

  8. Do you offer custom sizes and/or custom items?
    Yes! Simply contact us using the message box above, or call us at 1.866.515.PRINT (7746).

  9. What does 4/0 and 4/4 mean?
    “4” refers to 4-color process which also means “full color”. If a product is 4/0, it means there is full color on 1 side of the sheet only. If a product is 4/4, it means there is full color on both sides of the sheet.

  10. Do you offer mailing services?
    We do! Mailing services are available on many of our products. If you would like to mail a product that doesn’t currently have standard mailing capabilities, feel free to contact us, and we can assist you. 

  11. What paper stocks do you print on?
    We offer a wide range of stocks in both cover and text weights. In cover weight, we offer: 10pt Gloss Cover, 14pt Gloss Cover, 12pt C1S Cover, 10pt Uncoated Cover and 14pt Uncoated Cover. In text weight, we offer: 100# Gloss Text and 70# Uncoated Text. We also offer 24# White Wove Commercial Envelopes and 70# Uncoated Announcement Envelopes.

  12. What is the production time for my order?
    Production times vary by product. To check on the production time of an order, please login to your account and check the status.

  13. Do you offer templates?
    Yes! We offer several pre-designed business card templates if you don’t have your own artwork. If you need a blank template to build your artwork to, we offer several standard templates for you to use. Templates are at the bottom of each product page.
